Why I started TR Electrical
I'm Tom, and TR Electrical is my company. I started it because I kept meeting people in Hereford who'd been let down: quotes that never arrived, jobs left half-finished, paperwork that took weeks. The fix isn't complicated. Turn up when you said you would, put the price in writing, do tidy work and hand over the certificate.
That approach built the review page we have now: 67+ Google reviews, all five stars, most of them naming me personally. Read them and you'll notice the same words keep coming up. Punctual. Tidy. Honest. That's the whole business plan.
NICEIC Approved Contractor
The Approved Contractor scheme is the NICEIC's assessment across the full range of electrical work, commercial included. Our work, premises, test equipment and certification are checked by the NICEIC, so the certificates we issue stand up to councils, letting agents, insurers and estates teams. We're also an approved Andersen EV charger installer.
How we work

Call or WhatsApp Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. The office answers, gives you a price where it can, and books a date.

The price is in writing first
Free written quote before any work starts. The number you agree is the number on the invoice.

Certificates without chasing
Anything that needs certification gets it, sent quickly by email, with building control notified where the job requires it.
We're hiring electricians
TR Electrical is growing and we need qualified electricians who work the way our reviews describe: on time, tidy, straight with customers. Vans are on the plan, the work is varied (EICRs one day, a university plant room the next) and it's all in Herefordshire, so you're home for tea.
