A Leominster new-build
An Andersen charge point beside the front door, in a grey that sits neatly against the door a few feet away. The cable lives inside the unit behind the front cover, so there is nothing coiled on the wall between charges. Tested and certificated, with the network operator notified as part of the job.
Farms, smallholdings and long drives
Our Leominster work runs from rental EICRs in town to power for outbuildings on the farms and smallholdings around it, and that second kind changes what an EV charger involves. A charger on the wall beside the meter is the easy case. When the car lives in a barn, a cart shed or at the far end of a yard, the charger needs its own armoured supply run out to it, with protection at both ends.
That is the same work we do for power to outbuildings, so it is not a problem, it is just priced on the length of the run and how much digging it takes. Photos of the route let us give you a real figure without a visit.
The other thing we always check is the fuseboard. A 7kW charger is one of the biggest loads in a house. If yours cannot take it safely, we quote the board upgrade before you have spent anything on a charger. Everything included in the £900 is listed on our main EV charger page.

Questions we get asked
Do you charge more to come out to Leominster?
No. A charger in Leominster is priced exactly as it would be in Hereford. We are about 25 minutes away and Leominster is a regular patch for us.
The car lives in a barn or at the end of the yard. Can the charger go there?
Usually, yes. It needs an armoured cable from the house or yard supply, buried or clipped, and that run is priced by the metre and the digging. Send photos of where the car parks and where your fuseboard is, and we can usually price it from those.
Which charger should I go for?
We are an approved Andersen installer, and it is the one to look at if you care how it looks on the house. We fit other leading brands too, like the Ohme we fitted in Fownhope, and we will say straight which suits your car, your supply and your budget.
Charger for a Leominster home?
WhatsApp a photo of your fuseboard and where the car parks. That is usually enough for a price.
