On a Bromyard wall

Older house? Start with the fuseboard

Is Bromyard too far out for you?
No. Bromyard is on our regular round, about 30 minutes from our Hereford base, and the prices are the same as in Hereford.
My fuseboard is old. Can I still have a charger?
Very likely, but it may need work first. Send a photo of the board and we will tell you. If it needs replacing, a new consumer unit is from £800 with an RCBO on every circuit, and we quote it before you have bought a charger, not after.
Do I have to tell anyone about the charger?
Chargers must be registered with your electricity network operator, and the installation has to meet the smart charging regulations. We handle the notification and the paperwork as part of the job.
