Hypervolt Home 3 Pro fitted in Hereford

The Hypervolt Home 3 Pro is a neat tethered charger with solar modes built in and a cable up to 10m long, which matters on the long drives and awkward parking you get with plenty of Herefordshire houses. Octopus lists it for Intelligent Octopus Go.

Questions we get asked

How long a cable can I have?

5m as standard, with 7.5m and 10m options. Tell us where the car parks and we will say which you need.

Does the Hypervolt work with solar?

Yes. With the clamp fitted at the incoming supply it has Super Eco and Eco modes, and starts solar charging once you are exporting more than 1.4kW.

Does it need an earth rod?

It has PEN fault detection built in, which normally removes the need for one. We confirm it for your supply when we look at the job.
