myenergi zappi fitted in Hereford
If you have solar panels and want the car to run on what the roof makes, the zappi is the one most people look at. In ECO+ mode it charges only from surplus solar, so the power you would have exported for pennies goes into the car instead. We fit it across Hereford and Herefordshire.

Questions we get asked
What is the difference between ECO and ECO+?
ECO uses surplus solar and tops up from the grid so the car keeps charging. ECO+ only charges from surplus, so it is slower on a cloudy day but every unit comes from your roof.
Does a zappi need an earth rod?
No. myenergi build in PEN fault protection and say no earth rod is required. It does need a surge protection device, which we fit as part of the job.
Does the zappi work with Octopus?
Yes, Octopus lists the myenergi zappi for Intelligent Octopus Go.
